Pipette Calibration Services

Our liquid handling devices calibration offerings provide a complete, fully compliant service for all of your pipette calibration and certification needs. Our liquid handling calibration services can be custom-tailored to meet your specific requirements -- either at your site or at our lab facility. Services include gravimetric calibration and/or verification of a wide array of volumetric instruments including pipettors, titrators, bottle-top dispensers, syringes, and repeaters across every volume range from 0.1uL to 200mL.

Gravimetric calibrations are performed on 5-, 6-, or 7- place balances and mass comparators, depending on the volume measured. There are three "standard" service offerings available. Our GMP/GLP service includes both "as found" and "as left" data sets utilizing a 4-4-4 measurement structure (4 readings at three different volumes). Our economy level service also utilizes a 4-4-4 measurement structure, but it only includes either "as found" or "as left" data. Our verification service utilizes a 3-3-3 measurement structure and it only includes a statement of accuracy and not a certificate with quantitative results. Our verification service is normally selected by our university and educational customers.

All gravimetric calibrations are certified against equipment whose calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
